2008 DASH PLAQUE
Deer Creek Cruising Classics has been an annual event held on the third Sunday of September each year since it was Founded and Organized by Thomas W. Rogers in 2002. The first Deer Creek Cruising Classics Car Show was held on September 22, 2002 in Deer Creek Illinois. In 2009, the Village of Deer Creek Illinois Village Board held a vote determining the size of the event was to large for their community so the event has been moved to just outside of Deer Creek onto farm ground like it was back when it first started in 2002.

Activities:
The Celebration of Fire and Rescue Workers Eveywhere Festival has been seperated from Deer Creek Cruising Classics and they are in the process of constructing their own web site. Upon completion of that web site we will add a link to it here on our web site. However, Deer Creek Cruising Classics contniues to be a huge part of this overall celebration day.
FIRE RESCUE FESTIVAL:

The Deer Creek Location and the current policical environment disallows for a successful Festival the size in which the Celebration of Fire and Rescue Workers Everywhere Festival Board is striving to organize. So the Festival is relocating from downtown Deer Creek Illinois out onto privately owned farm ground for 2009. We believe that the 2009 Festival will be larger and better than all previous ones due to this move.
